What is Corrective Care?
Consultations for Clients with Chronic Symptoms Requiring In-depth Assessment and Follow-up Appointments
Corrective Care looks at long-term symptoms and more severe problems. You may have a diagnosed illness or you may experience a cluster of symptoms that don't amount to a diagnosed illness, but they impact on your lifestyle and you just don't feel really healthy. Let's look at a few examples:
- You might be continually fatigued, have a tendency to get severe colds and have difficulty digesting some foods
- You might suspect some food allergies due to energy slumps after certain foods
- You might get frequent loose bowels and feel very bloated
- You may have skin problems, that seem to come and go
- Your may have muscles that ache, even if you have done no exercise at all
- You may have a long-term issue with weight gain.
Corrective Care places a big emphasis on testing. I am looking for underlying causes and dysfunctions. I use:
- Naturopathic Tests in the clinic, or alternatively at home as Self-Test Kits
- Functional Testing, using a wonderful range of Functional Tests available in Australia
- Conventional Blood Tests
- Live Blood Examination
- A wide range of questionnaires, some online.
Results can show a multitude of different factors - Vitamin deficiencies, mineral deficiencies, antioxidant deficiencies, pH imbalances, enzyme dysregulation, poor fatty acid status, energy production dysfunctions, poor digestive function (or many kinds), imbalanced gut flora, parasites, detoxification issues including hormone detoxification, low or high sex hormones, low or high adrenal hormones, borderline thyroid problems, genetic defects, osteoporosis risk, heavy metals, food sensitivities and allergies, immune dysfunctions and more! Go to Testing Services for more information.
