Phe Gitsham
Phe Gitsham began her formal training sixteen years ago - including eight years at university and five years undertaking a shamanic and acupuncture apprenticeship. Phe brings to her clinical work a passion for natural medicines and a wealth of experience.
Phe holds a Bachelor of Arts in dance, music and drama from the renowned QUT Kelvin Grove Campus. This study gave Phe an enormous understanding of human anatomy and movement.
Since childhood Phe experienced chronic allergic and sensitivity health issues. She also experienced regular precognitive dreaming and a curiosity about energetics and metaphysics. --- Later, at at time when her allergies were quite extreme, Phe met a Native American Shaman (a healer) who took her on as an apprentice. The first few years of this apprenticeship consisted of Phe learning how to heal herself (body, mind and soul). She learnt nutritional medicine, hands-on energy healing, meditation, breathing techniques and more! Also she discovered Chinese Medicine which became a big part of Phe’s healing journey.
After five years Phe decided to study a Bachelor of Health Science in Chinese Medicine. She spent time at UTS in Sydney and at Victoria University in Melbourne. Graduating in 2006, Phe brings a deep understanding, focus and a sense of purpose to her unique combination of Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), Eastern Bodywork, Chinese Herbs, dietary therapy, healing and Reiki.
Phe continues with daily meditation and physical practices such as yoga, running, dance, taiji. Phe also teaches meditation style practices based on Lucid Shamanic Dreaming, known as Nagualism. In recent years, Phe has continued her shamanic healing studies with a Nagual Shaman. Nagualism practices focus on third eye and heart awareness development, body consciousness, lucid dreaming, martial arts and optimum nutrition. Phe assists with writing and editing books, administration and teaching guidance on the Nagual’s internet forum.
